NOTES: B.WC.Co. (Brooklyn Watch Case Company) was a watch case manufacturer, absorbed by Hoseph Fahy & Co. in the 1890s. Fahys then went out of business in 1931, shortly after this watch would have been made.
This may not be a legitimate Bulova watch. On the other hand, other examples of this model have been seen. Moreover, other examples of Bulova movements and dials in other cases made by this and other companies have also been seen, all believed to date to the same time period and all running on 10AN movements. So, it is entirely possible that Bulova sold their dials and movements to other companies during this period of time. In which case, this would be a legitimate watch in its own right, rather than an unauthorized use of Bulova parts. For that reason, I have included it in my collection and will continue to watch for other, similar models that may be legitimate vintage watches.
