NOTES: This model has yet to be seen in an advertisement, but it is identified in G-S Crystal Catalog No. 43 as the Physician. The style of watch, with its center sweep seconds hand confirms that identification, as, at that time, that feature was typically reserved for members of the medical profession, both male and female. The Physician case is a reincarnation of the early 1930s Oakley, which is also listed as taking the same crystal. Advertisements showing the Oakley are available, and there is also one in my collection.
