NOTES: The Nighthawk shown in the ad is the closest I have found to this watch. However, the Nighthawk is always shown in the ads with a black dial, stainless back, and 15 jewels. This watch has none of those characteristics. Some believe that the Nighthawk is an earlier version of the Air Warden. If that is true, than this watch cannot be the Nighthawk, because it is significantly larger than the watch believed to be the Air Warden (see 1943 Air Warden for details).
