NOTES: We have no ads showing the Watertite (or Watertight) between 1943 and 1951. I propose that this is what the Watertite looked like in 1947. The 1940 ads show no other all stainless steel case, so I believe there can be little doubt about what model this is. Note also the case signature, which is very unusual and identical to the signature in other 1942 Watertites, as well as the unsual serial number--again, quite similar to other versions of this model. In 1951 and beyond, the Watertite uses markers in place of some numbers, and variant designations are used, e.g., Watertite "F" in 1951.
